Join our Academic team in full-time (40 hrs./week) as Chief of Staff to the Chief Academics Officer (m/f/d) (CAO) at one of our locations in Germany or remote (germanwide).

Your tasks

  • You will be reporting directly to our Chief Academics Officer. This position serves as an exclusive forum for individuals aspiring to excel in a position to lead diverse projects. It offers a unique opportunity to gain firsthand insights into the main academic and strategic decisions of our organization across markets, fostering accelerated professional growth and paving the way for future leadership responsibilities.

  • You will work closely with our C-level and senior management on a variety of exciting projects and tasks that you plan, coordinate, and implement independently (e.g. Academic Portfolio Management, Operational Efficiency, Org Building).

  • You drive initiatives that contribute to the company’s success throughout our international expansion phase and beyond, while ensuring that we deliver a best-in-class customer experience to our students.

  • You act as the go-to person for cross-departmental collaboration and support our senior leadership in scaling our academic offering while taking (interim)-ownership over strategically important projects whenever needed.

  • In your role, you will support us in organizing and managing Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), board meetings and other strategic discussions.

Your Profile

  • You have a strong business acumen, growth mindset, and above-average analytical skills which help you to quickly understand complex relationships and identify optimization potential.

  • You have a highly proactive and hands-on approach to challenges and are a team player with an independent and structured way of working. Getting things done? That’s your pride!

  • You have a passion for education and have a basic understanding of education institutions. Ideally you even bring experience in the academics field (e.g., at other universities or educational institutions).

  • You have the innate urge to drive change, are happy to operate in a 360-degree role with minimal supervision and want a (well-earned) fast track to senior management.

  • Your growth-oriented mindset drives you to learn new things every day, to question the old and to achieve top performance for yourself and your environment.

  • Ideally, you have an outstanding degree from a top university, and preferably 2-5 years of professional experience in a fast-paced and demanding environment (e.g. management consulting, private equity, rapidly growing startups, investment banking, venture capital, or similar).

  • You have a high level of fluency in German.
