Trainee Study Access Alliance NGO – Partner and Student Management (f/m/d)

Join our Study Access Alliance team part-time (approximately 30 hours per week) as a Master Trainee at one of our locations in Germany or remotely nationwide while simultaneously pursuing a Master’s distance learning program at IU International University of Applied Sciences.

You will be part of Study Access Alliance gGmbH, a non-profit scholarship provider for students in Africa and will be enrolled for free in a Master degree at IU. You may choose any Master study program from IU’s big study portfolio. Your free day is for you to concentrate on your studies!

Your Responsibilities

  • Partner Management: oversight of partners, strong involvement in candidate selection process, coordinating problem-solving for partners.

  • Student Journey management: Responsible for the end-to-end process from issuing scholarship contracts to successful enrolment at the university. Managing student support measures, such as communication channels towards students (newsletters, MS Teams, WhatsApp) including community management and development of further support solutions.

  • Communication and Marketing: responsible for internal and external communication through Social Media, website, PR

Your Profile

  • You have completed your Bachelor degree in Marketing, NGO management, Media Management, Project Management or similar.

  • Preferably, first experience in account management, operations or marketing for example through an internship.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills coupled with strong communication skills, with experience in both internal and external communication.

  • Business fluent in written and spoken English, German would be a plus.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with multiple stakeholders, including partners and internal teams.

    Am I a permanent employee or freelancer in IU Academia?
    Our Professors are permanently employed and our Lecturers, Tutors, and Authors are all Freelancers.
    Is there a teacher forum for discussion & exchange?
    Absolutely! At every location we have a regular faculty conference. We also encourage dialogue via our collaboration tools and all our module leaders are available for questions at any time.
    What is the application process for a lecturer assignment?
    Once we review your application you will receive a further questionnaire by e-mail to be completed and returned.  We will promptly send you relevant information by e-mail about teaching at IU. We will also inform you about the process regarding a trial lecture.
    When do lectures take place in dual studies?
    Our dual study program includes modules that take place every two weeks and modules that are taught every week on specific days. Normally, our lectures for a module take place in blocks of 4-6 UE (UE = 45 minutes). Planning of the blocks is done in consultation with our lecturers. The weekly teaching hours are: Mon-Fri 8:00-20:00.
