Join our mission to make education accessible to everyone!

Strengthen our HRIS & Digital Transformation Team full-time as a Business Process & AI Automation Specialist (f/m/d) at one of our locations in Germany or working remotely across the country.

This role focuses on (AI) automation and optimization of HR processes – with a strong focus on Recruiting, Payroll, HR Services, and Learning & Development. You will collaborate closely with our HR teams, IT, Data Protection, and – where relevant – the Works Council to implement innovative technical solutions responsibly and effectively.

Your Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of project management: Independently manage digitization and automation projects in HR – from planning, stakeholder alignment, and coordination to successful implementation. You ensure clear structures, transparent communication, and sustainable outcomes.
  • Automate HR processes: Identify automation opportunities and implement them independently using RPA/low-code technologies (e.g. n8n, UiPath, Make, PowerAutomate).
  • Integrate AI effectively: Analyze which AI functionalities (e.g., in Workday or other HR tools) add value and manage pilot phases as well as operational rollouts.
  • Improve data quality: Implement automations for recurring checks and reconciliations to allow our functional experts to focus on creating value instead of managing transactional tasks.
  • Prompt smartly: Develop, test, and document prompts for HR use cases to streamline processes.
  • Drive innovation responsibly: Develop and implement technical HR innovations in close collaboration with Data Protection, IT, and the Works Council to always ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Your Profile
  • Several years of professional experience in HR Tech, process management, or digital transformation projects.

  • Hands-on expertise with RPA/low-code tools (e.g. n8n, UiPath, Make or PowerAutomate).

  • Basic understanding of APIs and interfaces (you design concepts, but don’t need to develop them yourself).

  • Initial experience with AI tools and prompt engineering.

  • Strong interest in HR digitization and AI trends (e.g., Workday AI features, LMS, recruiting tools).

  • Enjoy cross-functional collaboration with HR teams, IT, Data Protection, and the Works Council.

  • Fluent English and German skills, written and spoken
