Join our Career Acceleration Solution team in full-time (40 hrs./week) as International Career Advisor (m/f/d) at our location in Berlin.

Your tasks

Take over responsibility for the implementation of our premium career service supporting our international students to find a job in Germany
Be the main contact person for all program participants on career issues
Design and implement workshops and events for our international students
Be responsible for 1:1 career consultations as well as small group counseling
Oversee the reporting on the career progress of all participants and derive recommendations for action based on the analysis
Close coordination with Employer Relations & Student Employability officer

Your profile

You have completed or are in the last steps of your master study program
You already have experiences in project management and ideally initial knowledge in the field of coaching, facilitation and consultation
You are able to work in a fast-paced environment and have a strong hands-on mentality
You work independently and in a structured manner, plus maintain a strong and positive attitude when face with challenges
You have great communication skills, business fluent English and good knowledge in the German language is a plus

To what extent is home office possible?

We love to support Home Office arrangements, but some positions naturally require employees to be on campus/in the office. During the pandemic everyone works from home or can work in the office after consultation.

How many days paid holiday will I get per year?

All employees working a 5 day week are entitled to 30 days paid holiday per year.

Why are there so many open positions at IU?

Good question! We are experiencing explosive growth as students flock to adopt our unique education methods. That’s why we have become IU International University of Applied Sciences.

How flexible are the working hours at IU?

Working hours are naturally position dependent at IU but normally you can arrange them the way you want, together with your team and supervisor.

What is expected to be successful at IU?
