Strengthen our team as soon as possible at one of our office locations (e.g. in Berlin, Hamburg, Munich) or remotely in full-time as Head of Marketing Online DACH (m/f/d)

We are looking for a “Head of Marketing Online DACH” (m/f/d) in our marketing team with a sense for performance marketing, (website) communication, analytical thinking and strong execution skills. In addition, you should have experience in leading teams and you bring along the desire to further develop them.

Your tasks

Lead our unit-marketing activities for our Fernstudium (marketing business owner, and owning conversion on the web channel) and provide marketing services with your teams to new emerging brands in the DACH market

Lead the teams for website, content creation, social & online community, campaign management

Key counterpart for our performance marketing organization – involved in the effective steering of all channels especially in search advertising and social media

Drive the personalization and automatization of the website together with our Marketing-Tech organization to increase conversion by tailoring messages by place, time & scope

Effectively deploy and improve conversational AI features on our webpages as key business stakeholder

Explore and implement new (brand) acquisition channels: Podcasts, Out of Home, Video-based marketing (Youtube, Tiktok, TV)

Help us build more brand equity in our home market

Your Profile

Several years of leadership experience in marketing: e.g., performance marketing, websites, marketing communications, ideally in a B2C/B2B lead-driven business and multi-location / remote settings

Communication skills in marketing: You can put yourself in the shoes of potential customers and anticipate which messages and presentations can be particularly effective in digital and analogous environments

Analytical skills for KPI analysis and derivation of potentials; affinity for tools such as Google Analytics and Contentsquare

Strong communication skills and experience in managing diverse stakeholder groups

Hands-on mentality, planning skills as well as solution and result orientation

Fluent skills in German and advanced skills in English, both spoken and written

How flexible are the working hours at IU?

Working hours are naturally position dependent at IU but normally you can arrange them the way you want, together with your team and supervisor.

Good question! We are experiencing explosive growth as students flock to adopt our unique education methods. That’s why we have become IU International University of Applied Sciences.

How many days paid holiday will I get per year?

All employees working a 5 day week are entitled to 30 days paid holiday per year.

To what extent is home office possible?

We love to support Home Office arrangements, but some positions naturally require employees to be on campus/in the office. During the pandemic everyone works from home or can work in the office after consultation.
