Zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt besetzen wir im Fernstudium der IU Internationalen Hochschule eine

Professur (m/w/d) im Studiengang Pharmatechnologie in Voll- oder Teilzeit.

Deine Aufgaben

Du entwickelst einen neuen Studiengang, bei dem Du deine Expertise und Kreativität freien Lauf lassen kannst.
Du vertrittst die spezifischen Fächer der Pharmatechnologie im Fachgebiet Gesundheit.
Du übernimmst Verantwortung in der Entwicklung des Fachgebiets sowie seiner Studiengänge.
Du bist an der kreativen Entwicklung von Lehrformaten innerhalb des didaktischen Konzeptes der IU Internationalen Hochschule für das Onlinestudium beteiligt und entwickelst in kollegialer Zusammenarbeit eine digitale Studienwelt weiter.
Gelegentlich kannst Du Präsenzseminare an einem Standort der IU Internationalen Hochschule Deiner Wahl durchführen.

Dein Profil

Gesucht wird ein:e Expert:in in der Pharmatechnologie, welche:r sich aus der bisherigen Berufspraxis und wissenschaftlichen Arbeit durch umfassende, herausragende fachliche Kompetenz sowie pädagogische Fähigkeiten auszeichnet und diese in die Lehre an der IU Internationalen Hochschule einbringt.
Du hast ein Hochschulstudium im Bereich Pharmazie mit herausragenden Leistungen abgeschlossen und kannst eine Prädikatspromotion (mind. „cum laude“) vorweisen.
Du kennst die einschlägigen Normen bzw. regulatorischen Anforderungen (z.B. IVDR / EU-Verordnung 2017/746) und verfügst idealerweise über entsprechende praktische Anwendungserfahrung.
Du verfügst über mind. fünf Jahre Berufserfahrung, davon drei Jahre außerhalb der Hochschule.
Du hast zudem Erfahrungen in der Lehre gesammelt und bist am Einsatz moderner Hochschuldidaktik interessiert. Idealerweise hast Du Erfahrung in der Online-Lehre oder Videoproduktion.
Du arbeitest teamorientiert und richtest Dein Denken und Handeln auf langfristige Ziele der IU Internationalen Hochschule aus.
Kollegialität, Kooperation, sowie Zuverlässigkeit zeichnen Dich aus.
Du bist innovativ und bringst eigene Ideen für die Umsetzung von Onlinelehre in der Pharmatechnologie mit.

Idealerweise übernehmen Bewerber (m/w/d) praxisnahe und anwendungsbezogene Lehrveranstaltungen, insbesondere in den Bereichen (nicht jeder Bereich muss abgedeckt sein):

Pharmazeutische und medizintechnische Industrie
Physiologie, Pharmakologie und Toxikologie
Arzneimittelentwicklung / Biopharmazeutische Technologie
Produktionsplanung und Produktionstechnik
Prozess- und Verfahrenstechnik
Qualitätsmanagement
Normen und regulatorische Anforderungen

Am I a permanent employee or freelancer in IU Academia?

Our Professors are permanently employed and our Lecturers, Tutors, and Authors are all Freelancers.

Is there a teacher forum for discussion & exchange?

Absolutely! At every location we have a regular faculty conference. We also encourage dialogue via our collaboration tools and all our module leaders are available for questions at any time.

What is the application process for a lecturer assignment?

Once we review your application you will receive a further questionnaire by e-mail to be completed and returned. We will promptly send you relevant information by e-mail about teaching at IU. We will also inform you about the process regarding a trial lecture.

When do lectures take place in dual studies?

Our dual study program includes modules that take place every two weeks and modules that are taught every week on specific days. Normally, our lectures for a module take place in blocks of 4-6 UE (UE = 45 minutes). Planning of the blocks is done in consultation with our lecturers. The weekly teaching hours are: Mon-Fri 8:00-20:00.
