Senior Software Architect & Fullstack Developer (m/f/d)

Support our Innovation team remotely across Germany, preferably in Frankfurt, starting immediately in full-time as Senior Software Architect & Fullstack Developer (m/f/d).

• Taking over responsibility for the software architecture & fullstack development of a complex AI/NLP (Natural Language Processing) and data-driven education engine
• Supporting the development team in the blueprint, and architecture of our products
• Coaching the development teams in applying best practices / patterns and methods of software design and in assessing trade-offs
• Developing and implementing best practice guidelines for our multi-tiered microservices landscape incl. different persistence layers
• Implementing scalable and cloud-native solutions (preferably AWS)
• Exploring new technologies & analyzing and solving problems

• You have a lean start-up mentality and want to help us revolutionize the conventional education system within an enormously successful company 
• You are interested in understanding functional insights behind epics and user stories
• You have a very good knowledge of software architecture standards, software design principles, and patterns for micro-service
• You are experienced with Python in a cloud-native environment
• You have an extensive knowledge of event-driven architectures, messaging patterns and Apache Kafka is a plus
• You have a strong knowledge of state-of-the-art data structures and algorithms for frontend & backend, proficient in at least one coding language, including but not limited to Python, Typescript, Go, Java, Dart, C++
• You are able to work in a fast-paced environment and building prototypes, MVPs, and final products
• You embrace uncertainty and learning about users to adapt the solution or pivot
• You are fluent in English especially in writing, speaking German is a plus
