Group Product Manager Lecturer Technology (m/w/d)
Become part of our team as Group Product Manager Lecturer Tech (m/f/d). Start immediately in full-time at one of our locations in Germany, London or Remote.
In this role you will have the opportunity to shape our Lecturer Tech products and the way we organize the recruitment, contracting and planning of thousands of lecturers and courses. Within our Lecturer domain you will work with an experienced team of engineers and designers and other roles to drive our ambitious business goals from ideation to delivery. You will peer with the existing Product Managers. You will drive outcomes through continuous discovery, building MVPs and iterating on released product improvements.

Oversee the entire product lifecycle for tools and systems that support lecturer planning, course scheduling, examination scheduling, and the management of freelancer contracts, from initial discovery and research to development and performance analysis, ensuring ongoing optimization.

Develop a deep understanding of the operational needs of our academic staff, including course planning, scheduling complexities, examination timelines, and the contracting of freelance lecturers, using data and user feedback to identify and prioritize key opportunities for improvement.

Define, monitor, and enhance product success metrics, particularly focusing on how our solutions improve the efficiency and effectiveness of course and examination scheduling, lecturer planning, and freelancer management.

Lead complex cross-functional product implementation, bringing Operations, Service, Academics, or other areas together to deliver superb customer experiences.

Shape your initiatives in line with IU group’s strategy and our business unit’s priorities.

At least 3-5 years experience working in a Product Management role managing remote product teams or individual team members.

Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle in international companies.

You are passionate about creating a great customer experience and smooth customer journeys.

Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.

You are proactive and interested in understanding the problem to solve, rather than executing on stakeholder requests.

Agile mindset, persuasiveness, and strong communication skills.

A structured way of working to deal with competing priorities and organizational complexity.

Analytical and problem-solving abilities, including data driven idea validation and testing.
