Senior Fullstack Developer (m/f/d)

Support our innovative Pilots & Implementation Team remotely across Germany, preferably in Frankfurt, starting immediately in full-time as Senior Fullstack Developer (m/f/d).

• Take over responsibility for the full stack development of a complex AI/NLP (Natural Language Processing) and data-driven education engine.

• Implementing scalable and cloud-native solutions (preferably AWS).

• Design, build and maintain data transformations efficiently and reliably for different purposes (e.g., reporting, growth analysis, multi-dimensional analysis).

• Design, implement and maintain reliable, scalable, robust, and extensible big data systems that support core products and business.

• Explore new technologies & analyze and solve problems.

• You have a lean start-up mentality and want to help us revolutionize the conventional education system within an enormously successful company.

• Interest in understanding functional insights behind epics and user stories.

• Experience with Python in a cloud-native environment.

• Strong knowledge of state-of-the-art data structures and algorithms for frontend & backend, proficient in at least one coding language, including but not limited to Python, Typescript, React.JS.

• Experience in AWS/GCP, understanding IaC principles. AWS CloudFormation is a plus.

• You're familiar with different database types (relational, key-value, document, NewSQL etc.) and understand their strengths and weaknesses.

• You're familiar with REST fundamentals and API design best practices.

• Experience with the Big Data technologies is a plus (Hadoop, M/R, Hive, Spark, Metastore, Presto, Flume, Kafka, ClickHouse, Flink etc).

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and building prototypes, MVPs, and final products.

• You embrace uncertainty and learning about users to adapt the solution or pivot.

• Fluent English especially in writing, speaking German is a plus.
