Senior Inhouse Consultant Workday Finance (m/f/w)

Strengthen our Inhouse Workday Team in a full-time position (40 hrs/week) as Inhouse Workday Consultant Finance (m/f/d). This position is available as a full-time role at our IU office locations or remotely (must reside in Germany or the UK).
This role focuses on driving the development and optimization of our Workday platform systems to enhance operational efficiency and cross-functional collaboration, specialized on the Financial modules.

Solution Design & Optimization: Analyze, design, and optimize Workday Finance processes to support organizational objectives by leveraging best practices and the latest Workday and AI features, while leading implementation and enhancements to ensure seamless integration with other systems.

Project Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement: Manage complex Workday Finance projects from requirements gathering through post-go-live; facilitate workshops and ensure strong alignment with all stakeholder groups.

Advanced Technical & Functional Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting for Workday Finance issues, oversee ticket management, support mass data uploads, and drive effective knowledge transfer within functional teams.

Audit, Compliance & Security: Develop audit dashboards, implement controls, oversee security audits and ensure thorough testing strategies and compliance documentation.

Change Management & Knowledge Building: Lead change management initiatives, ensure business units are prepared for changes, document key configurations, and mentor junior consultants to foster continuous improvement.

Strong foundation in IT systems and process management, with proven skills in driving change, delivering training, and engaging diverse stakeholders.

Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to learning, eager to expand expertise across multiple Workday modules.

Embracing the Platform Consultant Role: Demonstrates a strong grasp of how Finance, HR, and IT processes interconnect within the organization, appreciating the ripple effects of changes across these domains.

Deep functional and technical expertise in Workday Finance, including hands-on module configuration, support, and project leadership.

Highly organized and results-driven, with advanced analytical skills, effective communication, and fluency in English; German language skills are a plus.
