Support our International Student Service Team in full-time (40 hrs./week) as Visa Specialist (m/f/d) at our office in Berlin.

This role focuses on supporting international students with visa-related matters, ensuring compliance and a seamless student experience.

Your tasks

  • Serve as the primary contact for international students regarding visa and residence permit inquiries

  • Guide and advise students through application and extension processes for visas and residence permits

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Operations, Legal Support, and Student Office to resolve cases efficiently

  • Process and document visa requests independently, ensuring accuracy and compliance with data privacy regulations

  • Create, update, and optimize informational resources and internal processes based on feedback and legal updates

Your Profile

  • You bring proven experience and in-depth knowledge of German visa and residence regulations for international students

  • You demonstrate intercultural competence and ideally have international work experience

  • You hold a completed higher education degree

  • You are highly efficient, reliable, empathetic, and capable of managing sensitive, time-critical cases with clear communication

  • You are fluent in English (spoken and written), have at least advanced German skills, and are proficient in MS Office

      How many days paid holiday will I get per year?
      All employees working a 5 day week are entitled to 30 days paid holiday per year.
      To what extent is home office possible?
      We love to support Home Office arrangements, but some positions naturally require employees to be on campus/in the office. During the pandemic everyone works from home or can work in the office after consultation.
