Strengthen our Data Platform Team in full-time (40 hrs./week) as Senior Data Analyst (m/f/d) within Germany or UK remotely or at one of our office locations.
This role focuses on transforming complex data into strategic insights, enabling smarter decisions and fostering cross-functional collaboration across a rapidly scaling organization.

Business Analysis & Insights: Conduct deep-dive and ad hoc analyses to uncover patterns, trends, and actionable insights that guide decision-making across departments. Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in processes, products, and outcomes using data.

Analytical Framework Development: Build and evolve robust frameworks for measuring business performance, success metrics, and goal tracking. Partner with cross-functional teams to align metrics with strategic objectives and KPIs.

Data Reporting & Visualization: Design and maintain clear, compelling dashboards and reports in a modern BI visualization tool. Translate complex data findings into digestible formats for various audiences.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with stakeholders across the business to understand needs, scope analysis, and deliver strategic insights. Act as a trusted advisor and thought partner in data-driven initiatives.

Upskilling & Enablement: Lead training sessions and workshops for peers and business users to improve data literacy and promote self-serve analytics. Contribute to a culture of data curiosity and confidence across the organization.

Collaboration with Analytics Engineering: Work closely with analytics engineers to align data models and transformations with analytical needs. Contribute to the design of the semantic layer and shape the structure of business-facing data.

Nice to have: Participate in shaping or validating data models and pipelines in collaboration with the engineering team, using SQL and dbt to define transformations for reliable analysis and reporting.

Nice to have: Deep curiosity about analytics in the age of AI: you study or experiment with generative AI in an analytics context to understand how it might enhance decision-making, automation, and business insight.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in business analytics, data science, or a similar analytical role.

Strong SQL skills and comfortable working with a modern data stack such as dbt, Looker, BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift.

Familiarity with the basics of source control and code versioning.

Strong business acumen, with the ability to connect data insights to a company’s strategic direction, interpret financial metrics, and read a P&L. You think commercially and strategically.

High attention to detail, ensuring precision, accuracy, and integrity in every analysis.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights and effectively influence decisions.

Nice to have: Background in management or strategic consulting (with structured thinking and top-down problem-solving) and/or experience in fast-paced, high-growth tech or EdTech environments.
